Product development is the very core of our business to ensure an excellent customer experience. Our ambitious Product & Tech team enables us to scale and deliver the smartest savings platform there is. We focus on building a flexible system that enables us to scale up. To make sure our development work creates the right business output all teams work closely together. Our HQ is located in central Stockholm and we also have an office located in Halmstad.

What about the role?
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Stockholm. Your mission will be to build a vision and create roadmaps for organizing and scaling our Tech & Product team. You take responsibility to lead and develop our engineering team through hiring, coaching, mentoring and feedback. You will report to our CPO and work closely with other managers and internal stakeholders.
As an Engineering Manager, you have a humble and open approach to leadership, with a great interest in developing people and technology. Through your leadership, you will inspire and strengthen our developers and give them the opportunity to build fantastic software for our product. But also of course work for a good collaboration and an open, friendly and fun work environment.
Some tasks and responsibilities
- Actively work to improve team health and performance, as well as fostering an open and inclusive culture as they continue to grow the organization
- Participate in and/or drive improvement initiatives across engineering
- Continuously develop relationships between product, engineering and key stakeholders across all domains
- Foster collaboration with product to maintain a healthy backlog that tackles the most important problems to solve
- Use your technical expertise to support the team effectively and be involved in the technical solutioning
- Driving and being accountable for delivery, quality, and good engineering practices within your team
We believe you have
- Background in engineering or development
- Experience of leading teams effectively - in a product & design-focused environment
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively on all levels
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
As a person, we believe that you like to develop and grow engineers and have an interest in both people and product. You have a background in engineering, spiced with leadership experience who makes it possible to organize and scale up our Product & Tech team, at the same time as you understand our business and what we need to develop it. As we are a start-up we believe you are a solution-oriented, go-getter who gets things done.
