The Role

As a Software Engineer at SAVR, you will be part of our tech organization helping build and evolve the next generation investment platform. While this role will primarily focus on infrastructure, you will occasionally also work on backend development tasks.

A significant part of your work will involve improving and operating our cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities to ensure scalability, reliability, and a great developer experience. You will collaborate closely with fellow Software Engineers, as well as Data Scientists, Product Designers, and Product Managers to build high-quality products and technical solutions across the platform.

Our infrastructure stack is built on AWS and managed through Terraform, with CI/CD handled via GitHub, alongside some GCP and third-party services. For backend development and analytics, we also work with Kotlin, Python, PHP, Snowflake and dbt.

Your Mission

• Take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities, ensuring reliability, scalability, observability and efficient deployments.

• Drive technical improvements across backend architecture, CI/CD, developer experience and operational tooling.

• Collaborate closely with the team to build high-quality products, develop integrations, and contribute across the stack when needed.

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and services in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Foster our learning culture by actively participating in feedback sessions, both receiving and providing constructive feedback on code.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You...

• Are a software engineer who specializes in infrastructure, cloud platforms and scalable systems.

• Have solid experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker/ECS/EKS, and observability tooling.

• Have 4+ years of professional experience with backend development building and operating product-grade systems

• Enjoy working in a startup environment where you can move between infrastructure and backend development depending on what creates the most impact.

• Care about writing maintainable software, improving reliability through automation, and collaborating closely with others.

• Are fluent in English and either hold Swedish citizenship or a valid EU work permit (visa sponsorship is unfortunately not available)
