Operations Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you’ll do
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of our critical operations processes such as customer onboarding and support, dealing, corporate action processing and handling of transfers.
You should be ready to mentor your team and collaborate well with all parts of the organization to find ways to increase quality of the customer journey and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant and efficient while ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.
This role requires a solutions-oriented individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and is an excellent collaborator. You will lead our Customer Experience team and report directly to the COO. In addition you will work collaboratively with all teams in our organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee and lead the daily operations of our critical operations processes across the full customer journey.
Oversee customer communication to align on operational priorities and customer communication needs.
Identify operational bottlenecks and work closely with our finance, risk, legal and compliance functions to ensure that we address operational issues promptly, and implement effective solutions.
Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
Enhance and monitor our quality controls for prompt resolution to issues arising
Establish Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of our operational processes and select and lead projects to improve these metrics
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering to ensure that product development aligns with operational goals and requirements to enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and minimize operational risks.
The ideal candidate has
Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the financial industry
Strong understanding of financial operations functions and processes
Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple things at once and prioritize effectively
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
An eye for details with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt to changing priorities
